Weekly US Gasoline Demand Update
Weekly gasoline demand rebounds notably after 8-month low
According to GasBuddy data, weekly total US gasoline demand rose 6.2% from the prior week and was 1.9% above the four week rolling average. Friday saw substantial lift (9.0%) from the prior Friday, as did Sunday (+13.3%) and Monday (+9.2%). Weather again likely played a key role in shifting gasoline demand. Saturday demand was up just 0.1% from the prior Saturday. Monday and Tuesday were the only days of the week that were below their respective four week averages.
